The Arabica blend is one of the greater quality coffees that come from Colombia. It is not the strongest out of the Colombian coffee assortment but it certainly has a lovely taste and aroma.

Robusta is another type of Colombian coffee. It is one of the lower quality varieties but it has a soft taste and a light aroma. It is commonly used in the making of instant coffees and cheaper for the buyer. It does contain much more caffeine than the Arabica blend does, but it still makes for a great cup of coffee.

The Colombian coffee industry has high demands and world wide clients which make this a very profitable business for the coffee growers. Many of the people who work to produce this great tasting coffee work for fair trade, which basically means that the workers get paid a fair amount or equal to the value of the product in the country that is buying it. Fair trade helps workers make the amount of money that they deserve to be making and keeps them comfortable in their financial specs.
